See clearly again
Regain clear vision and quality of life with surgery tailored to your visual needs.

We assess your vision to determine whether the time is right for surgery and which option best suits your individual needs.

Your procedure will be planned and carried out by ophthalmologists experienced in cataract surgery.

We carry out the tests needed to calculate your intraocular lens and plan the surgery precisely.

We explain every step and monitor your progress before and after surgery.
When vision gradually loses clarity
Cataracts develop when the lens, the eye’s natural focusing structure, gradually loses its transparency. Vision may become blurred or dull, sensitivity to light may increase, and everyday activities such as reading, driving or recognising faces can become increasingly difficult.
When cataracts begin to affect your independence and quality of life, surgery can replace the cloudy natural lens with a clear intraocular lens. At our clinic, we give you an honest assessment of whether the time is right for surgery and which type of lens best suits your eyes and visual needs.

Cataracts usually progress gradually, and the changes may be subtle at first. Over time, they can make everyday activities such as reading, driving or recognising faces more difficult.

We carry out a comprehensive examination to confirm the cataract, assess how it is affecting your vision and, when the time is right for surgery, plan the procedure precisely.
Your surgery, step by step
We support you from your initial assessment through to your follow-up appointments, with clear explanations and a plan tailored to your vision.

We assess how cataracts are affecting your daily life and whether the time is right for surgery.

We assess the characteristics of your eyes and your visual needs to recommend the most suitable intraocular lens.

We replace the cloudy natural lens with a clear intraocular lens to restore clearer vision.

We monitor your progress after surgery and support you throughout your recovery.
A lens chosen for your eyes and lifestyle
During cataract surgery, an intraocular lens is implanted to restore clearer vision. Depending on the characteristics of your eyes and your visual needs, monofocal or multifocal lenses may be considered, which can also help reduce your dependence on glasses.
Lens selection is never one-size-fits-all. We assess your vision, lifestyle and priorities to recommend the most suitable option, clearly explaining the benefits, limitations and results you can expect.
An important decision, with support from start to finish
Medical Assessment Tailored to You
We assess the characteristics of your eyes, how you use your vision in daily life and what you hope to achieve before recommending surgery or a particular lens.
Clear Information and Realistic Expectations
We explain when surgery may be appropriate and the differences between monofocal and multifocal lenses, including their benefits and limitations, so you can make a confident decision without pressure.
The Same Surgeon Throughout Your Care
The specialist who assesses your case also plans the procedure and oversees your follow-up care, ensuring continuity and a thorough understanding of your progress.
Your Questions Answered
Surgery is usually considered when vision loss starts making daily activities such as reading, driving, working or recognising faces difficult. The decision does not depend only on how advanced the cataract is, but also on how it affects each patient’s independence and quality of life.
The procedure is usually performed under local anaesthetic using eye drops and is generally virtually painless. You remain awake, although you may be given medication to help you relax during the procedure.
The choice depends on the characteristics of the eye, your prescription, the presence of astigmatism and your individual visual needs. Monofocal or multifocal lenses may be considered, and we always explain the benefits, limitations and realistic expectations of each option.
This depends on the type of lens implanted, the condition of the eye and the visual outcome. Some lenses can considerably reduce your dependence on glasses, although they may still be needed for certain distances or activities.
Recovery is gradual, and vision may be slightly blurred at first. It is important to use the prescribed eye drops, protect the eye, avoid strenuous activity during the first few days and attend scheduled follow-up appointments to ensure that recovery is progressing well.
